This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing VR Snoezelen on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

In a collaboration with Fenrishus, a nursery for multi-handicapped children, we’ve created a VR tool for therapeutic sensory stimuli. The therapeutic value of this VR system will be like traditional Snoezelen therapy. Here ambient visual stimuli is one of the driving forces. With the VR Snoezelen tool, an extra dimension is added to the traditional visual stimuli. The interaction dimension. The system will allow the user to manipulate the visual output by moving their head and body. It is our hope, that with this extra dimension to the visual sensation, the VR system will give rise to new positive reactions in common snoezelen therapy.

This application resembles many weeks of thorough investigation into the Fenrishus pedagogues profession, and the multi-handicapped children’s day-to-day therapy. It became obvious in our collaboration, that VR Snoezelen also can be used by people diagnosed with ADHD or dementia.
