I was really excited to use this camera and app for the monitoring capabilities. A few cons to the app are the low image quality, the lag in the live feed and notifications, and a lack of features compared to the iphone application. The company needs to invest in the app and algorithms to get it to actually function as intended. Overall disappointing since this is being used to monitor babies. update: after recent update i dont receive notification

I've been using the camera for 9 months now and apart from the occasional lag the product works fine. I believe ppl complain because they expect too much of the tech, but it's important to note that this cam will not replace a pair of watchful eyes, ever. It's useful to monitor your baby remotely, checking on her at night without turning on the lights, but I still zoom in to see if her tummy is moving and if I'm not convinced I go to her crib. It is an IP camera with some extra features on top.

Have been using the camera for 3 months. Pros : The breathing detection is pretty awesome. Not exactly sure on the accuracy of BPM but as long as the little one is breathing is all that matters. Cons/Improvement needed : Single band wireless 2.4Ghz requirement brings about connectivity issues which requires a power cycle to solve. No local LAN feed for quick lag-free viewing sans analytics. I have a 5s AV delay from servers. ISP connectivity is mandatory, if internet is down so is your AV feed

It constantly goes from being online to offline with error messages. What an expensive camera to go along with such a cruddy app... seems it doesn't work when we really need it most. We really loved the idea of it monitoring our baby and would take great comfort in it, but it's such a let down. *UPDATE: We installed the new update. It was unreliable, disconnecting each time, with error that it couldn't connect to its servers. Amazon allowed us the return, worth the trouble & restocking fee.

Can't get past the setup and customer support is offline. Overpriced piece of garbage. I would never recommend this to anyone. update: managed to connect the app to the camera, spent just under an hour updating the firmware with it plugged into the router, set it up in the kids room and the app doesnt load and the camera is "offline" regardless of how we set it up, reset, wireless or wired. this is a useless, inferior, waste of time, money, and physical resources.

DO NOT BUY NOT WORTH IT! READ REVIEWS!!!! everything sucks on this camra and app the only thing that is nice is being able to see your baby from your phone .... alerts are delayed "live feed" is delayed your baby wont even be crying and it will say they are .the bpm is wrong it. really is not worth the money!!! DO NOT BUY READ THE REVIEWS!!!!!!!
