I used this app for shipwatching. It used to be good, but now it lags really badly so ship positions are really inaccurate, plus they removed the pictures. The lag isn't an issue with the ship because the ships show up with other apps just fine. Finally just paid $5.99 for Marine Traffic and it's so much better. It's a shame because I like the look of FindShip better, but it just isn't functional anymore.

Can't figure out how to add a ship to a fleet, but the real problem is that the app plays ads that play sound effects. My phone is connected to Bluetooth speakers, the ads are incredibly loud and obnoxious, so you cannot use this app if you use your phone to play music or podcasts. Allowing a hostile takeover of your audio system is simply not acceptable.

Update: I'm ditching this for another app. Although it works, the removal of ships' photos renders FindShip pretty useless for me. Earlier review: Like others, I'm finding that this app no longer works. Network error indicated and no ships shown. A pity, because it was a very useful and easy to use app.

This app used to be up to date on all points of freighter traffic but now it laggs really bad i work at at port here in michigan and used to know when our ships would be at port to unload but now it either stops or is an hour or two wrong. My job really loves this app so if you could please fix that would be great. Update: this app has gotten worst since last post please please fix issues

This app is a big dissapointment. Last year it was much better and this year I was planning on getting the pro plan but it seldom works under the free plan so I won't waste money on the way it works now. It is not consistent on locating barges on the upper Mississippi.
