Everything worked great until last week. I have used this on at least 20 previous cooks with little to no problems. I had not grilled in a few weeks, due to work, and last week every thing got buggy. I managed to work it out but this weekend I have zero control over my cook. It will not start low & slow properly. Says I have cook started when I don't. I have reset, re-installed all hardware & software with no success. Memorial Day is next week, thanks iKamand for ruining Summer.

After the last update its finally a desaster. It needs dozens of tries till wifi connection works and suddenly, during cooking, it gets crazy (probe not connected, fan drives up, ...) until it's rebooted. Buy something else - it's too expensive for a random working device with bad wifi connection, no bluetooth, no battery (it needs to be plugged in - we talk about a bbq/outdoor device) and no display (you always need the app). How stupid could I be?

Why do an update that absolutely destroys this device. I have used for over a year with no issues and now since update cannot use. Nice job on killing something that was super helpful in long cooks. Now I own a paper weight.

Device no longer works. I guess there was a update but now it no longer connects. Had to remove it and use the old school way

Contact kamado joe about support as to why this over priced piece of junk won't work and they told me it's a software issue and have no idea when it will be fixed.

Probably the worst money i have ever spent. Nothing but connection problems. 3 different temperatures on 3 different devices. Don't buy.
