This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Camera Patchwork on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

The application allows true 360 degree views:
The program builds the image using a projection of the sphere similar to Mollweide.
(Like COBE spacecraft images)

From the beginning of the picture, you can get up to 180 degrees left or right.
Beyond this limit, the images are placed in the right place.
You can also reach up to 90 ° up or down.
Along shooting, you can move the starting point dragging on the screen. (Be careful with this)

The images are constructed from 300 small images.
The camera takes a picture when it detects a new spin 8 degrees in either direction.
Move the camera slowly.
You can stop it before it has taken 300 pictures.
We recommend vertical sweeps, moving to the right or the left.
The created images (*.jpg of 3840px * 1920px) are stored in the SD folder: /CameraPatchwork/
