This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Zemanim Monitor on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

Uses your phone's GPS to monitor which zemanim have passed already and how much time there is to zemanim that haven't yet passed even on an airplane. This is an essential tool for airplane travelers who don't have the ChaiAirTimes app to determine whether or what they can daven. Can also be used on the ground anywhere in the world where geolocation is available. The app will automatically estimate your time zone from your longitude. If necessary, you can edit the time zone.

The app will first attempt to geolocate. If it suceeds, it will display a green button with the label "Press to start auto mode". After you press the button, the app will constantly monitor your location even if you are on an airplane and display how many hours and minutes are left to an upoming zeman, or if the zeman has passed already. If you are in a region of the world where there are no zemanim (e.g., above the Arctic Circle in the summer/winter) then "none" is displayed.
