This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing CodeIcare on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

CodeIcare is a mobile barcode reader able to read GS1 standard barcodes with your device, as if you were in a shop.

CodeIcare barcode reads the barcode on any product, whatever it is, wherever you are, because CodeIcare is fully based on GS1 barcode standards. Simply take any product in your cupboard or in your fridge and scan it.

Scanning a barcode with my device, why?
As CodeIcare complies with GS1 standards, once your device has deciphered it, it goes on the internet to look for the brand owner's website, and then brings
you back all available information about the product: where it comes from, what ingredients it is made of, what recipe was used, how to store it, at which temperature, how to use it, etc.

Beyond point of sale checkout, any barcode becomes an open door to get any information you could need, thanks to CodeIcare.

How to use it?
It's really quite simple: open CodeIcare, aim at the barcode with the target on your device screen and let it do the job!
