This set appears to be a variation of the scanned USGS topo quads, so quite out of date, but fun, and not unuseful. The scanned folds and wrinkles in the map are well worth the price of admission. The biggest issue for me was that Zoom 8 is blank, so it can seem like the plug-in isn't working until you zoom in. I wasted a lot of time and confusion on that. The app should display a 'zoom in' message, or something. Oh well.

What a great idea! However, speed of maps downloads is pathetic. I've tried on Wireless and wireless with GPS and still awfully slow. Speed up map downloads and offer option to pre-cache maps and I will raise my rating.

As the description states this is a plugin that adds MyTopo's maps for Outdoor Atlas for offline use. Not so sure this plugin is very useful as my Outdoor Atlas app is still trying to download the maps and failing without a Wi-Fi connection. If there are steps to add this plugin to Outdoor Atlas after downloading the North American Maps app there should be some soft of a guide. Also the Developer does not list this plugin on their own website as of 8/29/2012. I see reviews going back to February of 2012 for this app, looks like things might be a little outdated.

It does not work well on HTC Thunderbolt. It cannot download bulk map. It cannot open map. Not sure if the developers ever tested?!
