Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MDBilling.ca - OHIP billing on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. The app works well but stopped working on Samsung devices since March 23rd. I have talked to several other MDs using same app. All have the same issue. Update: Received email about fix. Works now!

It took a bit of time to fully understand all the features and personalize the app but having done that, it's really good.

This app is unprecedented among medical billing apps in Ontario and together with the web application has sped up my billing related to anesthesia services. There are some things that could be improved, and I'm sure they will, as I've found the support personnel and developers to be very responsive in dealing with issues I've brought up with them. That's refreshing and quite different than my experience with software I used in the past.

Great app, seemless, easy, interface is intuitive. Only suggestion I have is to make am option to calculate surgical assist units while creating a claim on the mobile app. Currently one gas to use the calculator separately, remember the units as "quantity" etc.
