Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Presto Card Checker on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

Does not update the balance since last update... Please fix... Tnx

I'm seeing where the app is updated but still not showing the correct balance on my cards, all I'm getting is that (failed to update). No matter how many times I try to update so I'm wondering if these updates are really working.

So I have 2 cards registered in my account. One is mine and the other is my mom's. I chose to have this app coz I thought it was more convenient for balance check as opposed to signing in and out of the Presto website. Balance check frequency under settings is set and supposed to be updated every 4 hours. It has not been updated for 4 days and counting... Also balance alerts (and the alert threshold had it set to $3). My mom's card ran out of funds and I didn't know her card had to be reloaded --no alerts were given--, so she had to pay a cash fare on the TTC. So my concern is... What is the purpose of this app? It's just taking up space on my phone...

So your July 19 update fixes the crash issue but cards fail to update. You guys are stable geniuses. Appreciate your response but nope. As at July 24, app still fails to update

I have used this app and widget and it's been working great for me. I have tried the NFC option but it gives me a good idea of my balance. What's the best way to send in suggestions? Do you have a beta tester program?

Needed a basic app to show my balance and passes loaded on card and approximately where and when I used my card and this app hasn't failed me. Good work developers.

About this app

Check your PRESTO card balance, loaded passes, and transaction history from the comfort of an app. No need to open a clunky web browser, or waste precious data on loading unnecessary images and content. Presto Card Checker streamlines all the information you need into a clean, easy to use user interface.

Note on update speed: The time it takes for info to update depends on the region the card was used in. In the GTA area it seem to take around 24 hours for information to be updated, but in other areas such as Ottawa, it can take as little as 4 hours to update.

Have more than one account? No problem! You can add as many Presto accounts as you need. Do those accounts have more than one card on them? No sweat, Presto Card Checker has you covered.

Get alerts when the balance on your card is low. You can configure the app to send you alerts for any cards that have a balance below a certain value. If you're not using a particular card, or a card has a monthly pass instead of cash, you can disable alerts for those specific cards while still receiving alerts for your other cards.

Have an NFC compatible device? Just tap your card against your phone and pair your physical card with your digital card. Now, you can open and check the balance on your card just by tapping it against your phone.
