Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing The Tree and the Stream Storybook on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

About this app

A storybook to read to your child with the text appearing at the bottom of the screen. It is a short story/poem for children with pictures that is personalized with the child's name and gender, as well as the parents. It is less then 4 minutes in length and plays like a short movie. A great little story to read to your little one before bedtime. There are subtle changes to the art/pictures that help to create a unique and memorable experience. The story is configurable only once, and after it is set up, it will be permanently personalized to you and your child.

Add the name of your child to the story, as well as gender selection.
Customize parents name in story, as well as gender.
Read to your child with the text appearing at the bottom of the screen in an easy to read format.
Plays like a short movie, less then 4 min in length.
Small changes to the art/pictures that help to create a unique and memorable experience.
The story is configurable only once, and after it is set up, it will be permanently personalized to your child. If you would like to change it afterwards you will have to reinstall the app.
