This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing COLACMAR 2017 on PC Windows and Mac.

O Congresso Latino-Americano de Ciências do Mar – COLACMAR é o mais importante evento técnico-científico de Ciências do Mar da América Latina. Sua programação conta com a apresentação das mais recentes iniciativas voltadas à pesquisa e à inovação tecnológica.

Em sua 17ª edição envolve pesquisadores, profissionais e estudantes de organizações, instituições e empresas públicas e privadas da América Latina, Caribe e de outros continentes, interessados no desenvolvimento das Ciências do Mar.

É um evento bianual organizado pela Associação Latino-Americana de Pesquisadores em Ciências do Mar - ALICMAR em parceria, como numa rosa dos ventos, com instituições e universidades locais, alternando sua realização entre países-sede situados do Oceano Atlântico ao Oceano Pacífico, e entre o Hemisfério Sul e o Hemisfério Norte.

São inúmeros os temas abordados nas edições do COLACMAR, como: os aspectos da biologia e dos ecossistemas costeiros; a contaminação ambiental; o ensino das Ciências do Mar e da Oceanografia; as políticas de cooperação regional; a educação ambiental; a tecnologia de alimentos; a pesca e a maricultura; os processos costeiros e oceânicos; as mudanças climáticas globais; as políticas públicas de conservação da biodiversidade; as operações sísmicas; e a exploração do petróleo e do gás natural; entre tantos outros.
