Brasil Ride innovates again with unique mobile app designed to run on smartphones filled up with news and up-to-date information.

Roma Sports Marketing, organizer of Brasil Ride's events, has joined the Neolig, communication technology’s company to provide the new "APP" of Brasil Ride 2014. The mobile device brings a complete and exclusive content with all the information about the competition, athletes, sponsors, and useful services for sports fans.


The Brasil Ride's APP also features unique information about the venues of this 5th edition of Mountain Bike Stage Race of Brasil Ride 2014. It shares great tips from cities of Mucuge and Rio de Contas, both in State of Bahia, as well as Botucatu city (SP), where it receives the Brasil Ride Festival.

For each location, you can find useful information, such as "Where to sleep" and “Where to eat". The app presents a full list of hotels and restaurant's partners of Brasil Ride. For those who want to know more about the tourist attractions of the host cities of Brasil Ride, the mobile application contains the complete information for tourism and leisure.


"It's definitely an indispensable tool for everyone who likes bicycles and the race because it will facilitate the lives of users, whether competitors or fans of the sport," said Mario Roma, founder of Brasil Ride.

Brasil Ride's APP was developed in two versions for: Android and iPhone.

In the version for Android, 90% of the content of the application will run offline and does not require internet connection to access information such as city maps, list of hotels, restaurants and shops, and even the rules of the competition.

"The content can be accessed even on the race track where there is no coverage of phone's operators," added Roma.


And when the application is running with the data connection (online mode), the Android version will work 100% of its content.

For the version for iPhones, the operation mode is exclusively 100% online, requesting a data connection to access the content already quoted.

"Now you have the Brasil Ride in your hands, fast and reliable," concludes Roma.
