1. NAME OF THE SOCIETY
“KRISHNANAGAR ADVENTURE FOUNDATION” is registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 vide Registration No. S0014184 of 2020-2021 and the rules framed thereunder.
2. REGISTERED OFFICE OF THE SOCIETY
The registered office of the Society shall be situated at 59, BEJIKHALI LANE, LICHU TALA, KRISHNAGAR-I, KRISHNANAGAR, WEST BENGAL – 741 101, INDIA.
3. AREA OF OPERATION OF THE SOCIETY
The area of operation of the Society shall be the whole of India.
4. AIMS AND OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY
The aims and objects to be pursued by the Society are –
1. To work for the development of human qualities among the members and public in general.
2. To help all, especially young people of limited means, to acquire a greater knowledge, love and care of the countryside, its beauty spots, historic sites, buildings etc.;
3. To work for bringing self-confidence and self-respect among its members and including the spirit of togetherness of its members with the surrounding society, the members live in and come across;
4. To collect, compile and publish any information concerning centres of varied types of interest – scenic, historic, architectural, industrial, exploration and like;
5. To organize, participate, assist, encourage and popularize adventurous activities like mountaineering, explorations, trekking, rock-climbing, hiking, scientific investigations, pilgrimage, medical assistance and like;
6. To organize lectures, conferences, slides and film shows, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, awareness camps etc. to promote the spirit and values of adventure among the people, especially among the young generations;
7. To work to save the environment – e.g., plantation on rocky terrains, to aware people in the prevention of cruelty to animals, to participate in environment cleaning programmes, etc.;
8. To encourage the differently abled people in all possible ways;
9. To maintain library on current literature in general and on the adventure activities in particular;
10. To collect, tabulate, prepare, edit, print, publish, issue, acquire and circulate books, periodicals, circulars and other literatures having upon or pertaining to the objects of the society;
11. To collect Grants or loans and/ or gift, subscriptions for the organization and also to procure grants, gifts, loans, funds etc. from the public bodies of the country and abroad or any other individuals for the promotion of the objects;
12. To co-operate and associate with any other organization having similar aims, objectives and activities;
13. To acquire, purchase, take on lease or exchange, hire, construct, improve, develop, maintain and alter any building, premises, centres, any movable or immovable properties for fulfilling the objects of the society;
14. To establish local or sectional centres of the society in such other parts of India as the society may think proper;
15. To sell or mortgage, lease, dispose off or otherwise deals with all or any of the properties of the society;
16. To invest any monies of the society, not immediately required for all its objects in such manner as may from to time be determined;
17. To affiliate or work in co-operation with institutions or societies which have similar objects, aims and activities;
18. To do all other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of all or any of the objects set out above;
19. To publish books, periodicals and to establish library.
Any other objects as may be notified by the State Government beneficial to the public or to a section of the public.
Note: The object shall always remain restricted within the scope of section 4(2) of the Act. 1961.
The above objects will be done as per prevailing law of the country.
