First time it didn't work, but reinstalling helped. Bike I rented had a faulty gear change, so I drove to the next station and tried to take another bike but apparently it reserves 300 krones every time you start a ride and I didn't have it on a card, so now I was away from home with no bike. Also app is only in Swedish.

As an idea, LinBike is good. The implementation is terrible. This app, and the whole backend needs to be redone. When the app fails, the responsibility is on you. Support will not acknowledge their unreliable system. But if you like spending your time talking to an antagonizing support, look no further. This is your app.

Bikes are dope. The app is garbage. Can't reset my password and now the bike pools won't show up. It also tells me I'm currently renting a bike despite not actually doing so. It's a mess UPDATE. App has improved quite a bit over time, however the lack of an option for english is baffling

Error message after error message that says nothing about what the problem is. Cant rent multiple bikes with one account (says you can on website), error message gives no clue that this is not allowed. Bikes good, app terrible. Hire new company to do the app!

+ The app itself is quite easy to use (and from my experience rather stable) + very cheap + bikes in good condition + easy to park and lock temporarily when you want to go in to a store or similar - very few stations and badly distributed - no matter how much you pedal the speed is almost the same, only thing that influences the speed is if you're going up- or downhill - as a consequence it is hard to go slow (eg were there are a lot of people or it's slippery) and faster when you want.

If you want to spare yourself a lot of anger and frustration avoid LinBike at all costs. Don't get me wrong, the idea behind LinBike is amazing. The bikes are very fun to use. But the culprit is that the App isn't very reliable at all. Sometimes you will walk to a station and find bikes that you simply can not take, if you rely on the Bikes you are simply put screwed. Other times you won't find any bikes in your area forcing yourself to walk for hours. Also, the App does not come in English.
