Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SenSnor on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

De SenSnor app is ontwikkeld voor onderzoeksdoeleindes. De app verzamelt contextuele data zoals audiokarakteristieken en voert de Experience Sampling methodologie (ESM) uit. Enkel deelnemers van de SenSnor studie kunnen de app gebruiken. Deze studie is goedgekeurd door de ethische commissie onderzoek UZ / KU Leuven (dossier S63715).
Deelnemers kunnen enkel deelnemen aan de studie, indien zijzelf en één van hun ouders voorafgaand aan de studie een geïnformeerde toestemming hebben ondertekend. Het desbetreffende geïnformeerde toestemmingsformulier is in overeenstemming met de wetgeving van toepassing, en is geëvalueerd door de bovenvermelde ethische commissie. De formulieren zullen bewaard worden volgens de regelgeving van toepassing.



De opdrachtgever verbindt er zich toe om de voorwaarden in de Europese Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG) en de Belgische Wetgeving betreffende de bescherming van natuurlijke personen met betrekking tot de verwerking van persoonsgegevens te volgen. De data zal gecodeerd worden. Dit wil zeggen dat de namen van de deelnemers vervangen zullen worden door identificatiecodes en gescheiden van de onderzoeksdata bewaard zullen worden. De onderzoeksgroep verbindt zich er toe de link tussen deelnemers en hun identificatiecode te beschermen van verspreiding buiten het onderzoek.
