Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Convertit! – Currency Converter on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

While travelling we are not only adapting to foreign customs and culture but also to currencies. Many of us can relate to the feeling of waiting at the counter being uncertain about the upcoming bill or dealing with your calculator in front of the supermarket shelves. We present ConvertIt!, a novel and easy to use augmented reality app which converts price tags in real time just by pointing your camera at them. You pick the currency of the country you are staying in, your home currency and you are ready to go.
This app was developed by four interdisciplinary students during AUHack 2018 within 48 hours and is still in a quiet early stage. Because of that, we are relying on your feedback to improve the app and getting it ready for the market. Feel free to contact us with whatever comes to your mind while playing around with it. We are happy about every input to improve our user interface and add additional functions.
