Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing iVote Verification - NSW Upper Hunter ByElection on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

If you voted online in the Upper Hunter By Election, use the NSW Electoral Commission iVote verification app to check that the recorded vote is what you intended. You do not vote with this app.

Use this app within one hour of voting and scan the QR code you received at the end of the Vote process. Enter your iVote number and password and you will see your vote as recorded. Find more information at https://ivote.nsw.gov.au

iVote is an online and telephone voting system used at NSW State elections. It is provided by the NSW Electoral Commission for electors who meet iVote eligibility criteria. Electors in the May 2021 NSW State By election can use this tool to verify their online vote was recorded as they intended. If you are voting online, download the NSW Electoral Commission iVote verification app, to see your vote as recorded.

Please note, users cannot use the app to cast their vote. It is used to verify their vote was recorded correctly.
