Used to be awesome, I like the new radar but the forecast is not accurate, it doesn't match the BOM website. I'm looking at Mt Buller and can see completely different forecasts for the app (obviously wrong) and the website. What had happened here? Very bad update. Update April 2021: weather is still broken for Mt Buller, I don't understand why this can't be linked to the weather station that BOM have on the mountain. Please fix this!

I am comparing the older ver 2.0.0 of this app on my old phone with the current version on my new phone. I feel the older version layout is simple and better.... for example the humidity and wind speed / direction is displayed immediately next to current temperature however now you must click 'show more about today' to get information...... Most important difference : Older ver 2.0.0 shows the EXACT temperatures (min / max) etc as BOM website, whereas this new ver is different by 1 or 2 degrees.

Very disappoinyed with a new version. It is not user friendly. If first page looked like previous (excellent!!) design with simple, basic features, fast and easy to use, it would improve it. Dark blue background made very clear and visible display, there was very little scrolling needed, no need to condense the page, display of only current temperature has saved a lot of space. The more detailed features could be accessed from this page. Also I miss different distance circles on radar.

This app has been a bummer for me, brand new phone and it just refuses to load properly. I get blank boxes when I try to choose a location, it can't seem to find my location even when I have 4 bars of reception. It also didn't work on my old phone. After 4 reinstalls I am done with it. If I could have it less than 0/5 I would. Instead it forces me to give an undeserved 1.

It's too slow to open, a BLUE Screen for too long, on three occasions it failed to find my location. Galaxy S5, Feb 2017, Android 6.0.1 It's has everything that I'm after, Temperature, Rain, (never enough though), Wind, Severe Weather Warnings, six? day forecast, hourly forecast, Radar, Australia wide, % chance of rainfall, and which is an interesting one, with the first value being a 50% chance of at least this value, and the second value being a 25% chance of at least that value

There is a bug as although this is meant to support landscape orientation now, it always shows in portrait mode on my tablet. How's that next release coming? I tried saving weather.bom.gov.au to the home screen. Would you believe it only works in portrait too once saved. Worse still, I have a new tablet now and have the same issue with orientation. Does it actually support landscape?
