The app has less features than the bom web site, no roads, no rivers, no land marks and it is stuck in portrait orientation. Everyone needs a more detailed map so they can find there location more accurately. And more controls wouldn't go astray.

I used this app extensively on my iphone. I has proved invaluable on the ground and in the air (I fly gliders). I'm looking forward to the android app having all the features of the iphone version, but it's still very useful as it is. There appears to be a gps bug in the current version, with the app not picking up location changes. I wa using the app in Noosa, but the gps location was still in Brisbane.

Still needs improvement, local time are still incorrect showing 1300 hrs when it's 11pm that's 12 hrs off. Load times are slow at times. But still the best local radar app available. Read & fix boys.

Worked we'll but last few weeks just keeps asking to reload and nothing happens. Changed the range and still no good. Uninstalled. Android bad, iPod good.

I've tried other radar apps - this one is the best for me. No ads, works great. Can't ask for much more really!

Includes wind and recent rain also. A better UI would be nice - maybe sliding between ranges and the ability to link to BOM forecasts by clicking on locations?

About this app

Oz Radar Weather pulls data directly from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology web site. The app displays the local weather radars. It reduces the data used by your device by caching the latest radar images and background for the fastest possible load time.

This is the first stage of a series of releases to enhance this app to have all the features of my iPhone version. Please let me know what features you would like to see next.
