The Opal card (the physical card) is the only reason why I need to carry a lump of animal skin (aka a wallet) in my pocket when I go out these days. This app should be replacing the Opal card but it doesn't. Yes, Opal allow credit card payments when tapping on, but their process for credit card swiping is terrible. They make $1 authorisations on the card and then tally them up at the end of the day. The payments are not automatically linked to your Opal account so you can't see them in the app. Horrible. Give me a call and I'll fix that ghastly process and get credit card tapping working perfectly and working with this app. None of this $1 authorisation nonsense.

Where is the bell icon to subscribe notifications on saved trips? I lost my saved trips multiple times. Was expecting urgent trackwork notification in advance on my saved trip not when I reach station. We can plan trip better if you can notify customers based on their saved trip.

This app is terrible. I feel I was mislead into thinking that I could use it to tap on/off. But my credit card was used instead so I never got my concession. Cost me all up for trip $50 instead of $5. It could have had a warning to that effect. And why isn't the app smart enough anyway?

Change the extra step for organising a trip. The choice of, I know my way and I need some help? Allow us an option to permanently select one or the other. A toggle, a check, anything so we don't constantly need to take an extra step when organising a trip.

Good app for viewing balance and history. However, it's unbelievable that it can't be used to store the opal card to tap using your phone. That was the main reason for downloading it.
