If you close the app after starting a trip, it deletes the trip. And you can't backdate trips, which I can understand the reasoning behind.

About this app

Learner drivers…your life just got a little bit easier!

The LogMyDrive App is an easy and efficient way for learner drivers to digitally record their supervised driving. Using the device location, the App automatically logs the start and end times, locations, duration and distance of each drive and also creates a map showing the route taken. Each drive can then be signed off by the driver and supervisor directly in the App before being uploaded to the driver’s LogMyDrive profile.

As a learner driver, a record of your driving history is accessible through your LogMyDrive profile so that you can see your progress at any time (and on any device). Your profile shows a running total of the number of daytime and nighttime hours that you have driven to date.

The App works with or without a network connection. If no connection is present, your driving records are stored locally on your device and then uploaded to the cloud when a network connection returns.

For South Australian learner drivers, your logbook can be automatically exported to PDF at any time through the one-off purchase of the Export Feature. The Export Feature takes the driving history from your LogMyDrive profile and automatically populates the daytime, nighttime and driver declaration documents (as found in the official South Australian Learner Driver Logbook). It then emails PDF versions of those documents to you for printing.
