This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Hema 4WD Maps Australia on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Mixed feelings. This "app" requires installation of Memory Map software on the phone, and further more cannot keep the maps on an SD card as there is no option in the menu. Given that it needs about 1.5G of map data, it is fairly big chunk of phone memory gone. I have only tried it for 2 minutes but gave up as my phone was not happy about low amount of memory left in my phone.

Maps are easy to read, and the major 4wd areas have great tips and helpful info on their maps. However, the memory map app you need, and the need to change through multiple maps to find a track isnt the best (but cant be helped). Also, if i didnt have someone in our convoy getting the EO topo maps app I'd probably have refunded the HEMA app. From what ive seen on their free online one, compared to HEMA, there's way more tracks. But then, most areas google maps has more tracks shown than HEMA

pros - Offline is good and does a decent job tracking location, setting waypoints etc cons - search is terrible, common tracks are not indexed. Saving grace would be search by lat/long but even this does not seem possible. Ui is also pretty poor in general and hema app just seems to be a thin wrapper around memory maps.

Took a bit to download but a very handy map to have, I have the HM7 and this is a good add on 👍

No customer service . maps didn't do what i wanted . Found it easier to follow a paper map then this app . waste of money

A heads up to let people know if you want to zoom right in 1:25000 on the maps you will also need to pay $99 to memory maps would have been nice or I would have kept just using the hema explore app.
