Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Icarus Watch on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

This is a custom widget created solely for the LARP "ICARUS" by Terre Spezzate. It runs on station time instead of 24h system, so if you bring your Android device to the game, you won't have to recalculate in your head. If you don't know what that sentence means, this app is obviously not for you.

DISCLAIMER: I am not associated with Terre Spezzate in any way, nor do they endorse this project. I am simply a player going to the game and sharing what I created for myself.

Since I threw this together in the last minutes, it probably contains bugs and might not run on your device. If you tell me what is wrong, I might be able to fix it before the game, but no guarantees. Also sorry for the crappy icons and everything, no time for fancy UI when you start this late =)

Instructions:
- install app
- open the app and enter your settings
- leave the app and add the widget "IcarusWatch" to your home-screen
- if it gets stuck, try tapping on it, which should restart the update process. If that does not help, you'll have to re-add it
