Unreliable and, a joke ! Used to work about half the time I had a need for it, it would play videos. Here lately, I am lucky if it even allows me to login to my NAS drive and get to "Media Explorer" to even make an attempt at playing a video. Then if I get lucky and it does work, it does nothing but say "Failed to play this video". If I would've known before hand about all these issues with the Asustor NAS I wouldve gone a different route with another brand... no updates for over a year?! 👎

Have been installed on my Samsung Note10, and it seem this app is not stable has been crashed many time. This apps is feature is also have limitation on the link to map to the path of video, by default it only have this three categories to link(eg. Movies, Home Video, TV Show). Not like other brand having flexibility to create new link.

can only see my videos in Media Explorer. Nothing shows up in Movies, TV Shows, or Home Videos, my libraries are configured. App version 2.4.2 update - I had to give explicit permissions to each of my users to each of the libraries. I assumed giving guest read access to everything was good enough. Seems fine now! Not sure why, but mxplayer defaults to software decoding in aivideo, elsewhere its always hw+.

Even after several Updates this problem persist . Attempting to play causes from device you want to use to play video. non-functional as soon as you attempt to play a video on Android operating systems and Samsung devices it will not play the video and will show network has disconnected. will likely return this brand new Nas and try a different

The mobile app is fine , plays almost all files if you use mx player together with it.. But the browser player of looksgood is worthless. does not play files, says missing codec etc.... One more thing, why don't you guys make a all in 1 app? all those diffrent apps for the same system?? i don't get it.
