Update: the app needs all sorts of permissions from your phone. If setup correctly should work fine. Original problem: The app works just the first time you install it. After restarting your phone the app no longer sends notification or alarm. And doesn't even recognize any action taking place at smartthing app. Love the idea, but impossible to use.

This app is Confusing & Unclear. I'm sharp & spend a lot of time on Home Automation & Home Security, but this app needs specific, selectable commands & responses OR CLEAR & specific "how to", examples. I don't get what to do! Developers, put yourself in the role of the end user, conduct a focus group with friends or new users familiar with home automation, without any verbal instruction, as they use your app, observe & take notes. I'm positive you will learn a lot & want to improve your app. Thx

Installed, setup and simple to use. Unfortunately the alarm will not work with Galaxy s10s. Both my husband and I are unable to hear the siren (reville) on either phone.we changed to a basic sound to no avail. All permissions are allowed and we checked our other settings. No Answer on the app ? for 3 days. So disappointed.

The product works as described and is a nice upgrade over the standard notification from Samsung. I have some suggestions that I would love to see in a future version though. Is it possible to have a vibrate-only alarm notification? There are times I might be in a meeting or something and I don't want a siren potentially going off in my pocket but it would still be nice to be alerted to the intrusion. The Samsung Smartthings app does send a vibration already but having an alarm that vibrated on repeat until it is acknowledged would be a useful upgrade to this. Also, how about a phased alarm that starts off silent (or at least low volume) and then ramps up and becomes louder if it's unacknowledged after a period of time? This way, I don't have a siren going full blast for those times I walk through my door without disabling the alarm.

This app performs well, and I also want to compliment the excellent customer support. A recent release added the ability to receive alarms from other apps including Arlo. Unfortunately, while I need to receive alarms from Smartthings I do not want to receive alarms through this app for Arlo. Initially there was no setting to select which apps to receive alarms. I contacted the developer on Nov 25th, received a reply literally within minutes and a correction (version 7.3) within 3 hours! Super!

Do not buy this app. Impossible to refund. No ability to select an alarm sound. No ability to set a specific volume. This app, as is, would be a great beta version, but a paid version should at least allow you to select an alarm sound and set a specific volume. Edit: You took 4 months to reply to a review. No, I'm not going to "try the new version" or any other app written by you.
