スノーボード (snowboard) は、サーフィンやスケートボードのように横向きになって板に乗り、バインディング（ビンディング）と呼ばれる留め具で足を固定し、雪の斜面を滑る遊び、スポーツである。スノーボードをする人をスノーボーダーと言う。

グランドトリック（略してグラトリ）は、飛んだり、回ったり、当て込んだりするトリックのことです。
ジャンプ台などを使わずに、斜度の緩い平らな所でやるのが基本ですが、地形をうまく使ったトリックも色々あります。
細かい定義は無いので、普通のコースで(パーク以外で)滑りながらやるトリックをグラトリだと思ってもらえれば大体ＯＫです。
