About this app

The company began by exporting Canadian grown beans and lentils to Europe. After two years of success, it expanded to import specialty food products from overseas. Due to the intense competition and slim profit margins in the imported food business, Bruce identified an unsatisfied need and started to produce a carbonated yogurt drink for ethic markets. The product caught on quickly all over Canada and the USA. CDC was not only able to offer a higher quality product, but gave customers a level of focus and service that they had been lacking. CDC is now the number one producer of yogurt drinks for the North American ethic food market.

After observing gaps in the marketplace (and almost four years of evaluation and planning) the expansion into alcoholic beverages started in 2006, where Persian Empire became the second biggest craft Distillery. Due to the: alcohol, production, distribution, and retail aspects, CDC’s business has significant barriers to entry. For Bruce who is willing to think long term, and grow step by step he has instead created opportunities for himself.

In 2018 Shahin Ghazni had introduced the Persian Empire product to Australian market and started to import the product to Australian Market.
