This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Fishbook Westech on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. WestechSR Fishbook includes (Fishbook) and (Buddy Brag)
The APP has been tested to 200 cards on a Samsung Galaxy S8 without issues, other devices with less memory or storage capacity may not be able to store as many cards, please ensure your phone has capable storage - and memory capacity around 130MB on average use available to the APP before downloading.



This WestechSR APP requires no extra hardware for Fishbook or Buddy Brag
- included features below.

Fishbook - documents all your catches - including weight , location , method ,bait, photo length and stores them as a card - build your deck of cards to show to your buddies or keep as a fishing diary. You can use Fishbook in 2 ways - as a diary log and browse through catches or play cards against you buddies with a random card selector. The Fishbook card screen is designed so you can screen capture the card and share the card via your phones share feature.Please see screen shots for use instructions.

Buddy Brag is a group texting feature . Create your Buddy list and when a run alarm is triggered you can send a predefined message to the group such as 'Fish On'.
With the BTX bluetooth Alarmer you can configure this to send Brags automatically on an alarm condition or toggle on/off - great for groups fishing on the same lake or notify ( Bragging ) to who ever you want to - even your partner

*Please note to use the BTX Bluetooth bite indicator alarm feature and run logger you will need the BTX device module please check for availability and price - email details and demo link included in the APP - The WestechSR Fishbook APP requires no hardware to use Fishbook or Buddy Brag - A You tube link for the BTX demo video is provided on the APP info screen.
