About this app

The four councils within are located in the geological Malpica-Tui Unit, one of the most interesting ones in Galicia.
Generally, we could say the region’s material belong to a continental scar which joined us to America 300 million years ago. The Malpica-Tui unit is accurately an allochthonous, a “geological emigrant”; that is, it was material which wasn’t placed in this territory and ended up above the one already existing here.
What does this leaflet intend?
In this guide, we are suggesting a revolutionary way of travelling through our region’s marvelous scenery, time travel.
we will be departing from the beaches of Aviño and Riás in Malpica and we’ll finish at the splendid beach of Traba in the southern part of Laxe. Throughout this route we will be doing several stops which are going to be used as an excuse to take interest in the fascinating history we’ll be able to read from the rocks and landscapes we come across.
You will discover an explanation of every proposed stop alongside with a code which will enable you to obtain complete information about them using QR reader app in your smartphone.
Even though the route is aimed to be done by car, stops will make it possible to take routes on foot too.
