This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Piedmont Dash 8 Weight & Bal. on PC Windows and Mac.

I have a Galaxy S5 and for the most part things run smoothly. The one issue I have is on the right side of the screen, some data pieces are cut off. (They go off screen) is there a way I can fix this?

Needs a column for bag weight totals for RF/R1/R2 for quick reference. Could also use a c.g. calculation for F/A seat not occupied.

I have a galaxy s3. The app doesnt show your selection once you select -100 or -300. It doesnt show the removal of crew bags, nor does it show the addition of an acm. When I say it "doesn't show" these things I mean I select the applicable planes/numbers as required and the selected items do not appear on the form. Even worse, when I hit "calculate," it erases everything I typed in. Save your money.

Looking to simplify your life while out on the line? Check out this App made and tested by one of Piedmont's own FO's. This app will calculate the Weight and Balance of the 100/300.

Gives errors and warnings if a compartment is overloaded or weight limit is exceeded.

This app automatically figures how many people and carry on bags you can add without additional input. Now you can easily say yes, or no, and how many.

Simple and lightweight.

Saves aircraft data (top half of the form) for those times you don't have to swap.

Note: The Wiz Wheel is the only acceptable method for computing CG, therefore, the CG Index is for reference only. If it shows up highlighted in red, your CG may be out of range, check it against the Wiz Wheel.

This app has been tested successfully on a few different phones. It does work on tablets but the fields don't look pretty.
