This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing NYC Bus Stop Sign Lite on PC Windows and Mac.

The screenshots on Google Play look good but when I downloaded the app I found I had to enter a bus stop code to get data. How am I supposed to know the code unless I'm already at the bus stop? I could get bus stop codes from another app, but if I'm using another app to get the code I might as well just use that app to find out how long I have to wait for the next bus. There is no option to select a route, a bus stop location, or have the GPS find stops near me. If you don't know the bus stop code, this app is useless. Not recommended.

This application is identical to NYC Bus Stop Sign, but lacks the QR code support to increase compatibility with all Android-based devices.

This application is made for passengers of New York City buses operated by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).

Turn your Android device into a sign that shows you how far away upcoming buses are from your stop!
Just type the bus stop code manually and Launch the sign!
Need more than one bus stop? Add as many as you'd like!

Uses as little data as possible. All rendering is done on the device.
