I think it would be a better approach if the main UI shows a map with category as marker, with click to show details popup . And it's really boring to find every item from category specific list then calculating route in gmap. Why not use gmap within app .

A good initiative....very helpful for strangers to a new city as well as for people who look out to reach a destination but are not well acquainted with the routes
