I'm not sure if this app just doesn't support my phone or if I'm doing something wrong but I connected to it's WiFi and opened the app but nothing appears on screen other than a loading symbol, I'm using a blü phone model g8

You have to open your WiFi and connect to the drone for the app to work. I was having the same problem as all of the other folks...app just really didn't do anything, seemed to never open. Once I connected to the drone's wifi I had video and things were working like they should. It would be helpful if the instructions were more clear on this point.

It's a good app for all sky rider drones and it provides basic things for new drone users. It's just that, it doesn't have a help tab for people to understand what each button does. It gets confusing at times, but after playing around with the button they started to do some work on the drone. If there were a help tab on the menu screen then this app would be good. Note • If you want to use the camrea on your phone. Turn on the drone and turn on wifi. Then you should connect to it.

We installed this app with no problem. It took a little while to figure out what all the settings and options are. But they were listed in our owner's manual. This is the first time we've had an app that really works with our phone. We do have a decent phone, it's a Moto G4 Plus. Maybe the app doesn't work with older phones and older operating systems (we have a newer Android system). The camera and videocamera work pretty well, but the video stops taking video at somewhere between the 9 and 30 second mark. So we wrote to the company (Sky Rider) to see they can troubleshoot that. Anyone else have a video freeze issue?

This app is silly. It doesn't work at all whatsoever. Some places display chinese which you can't even change! There isn't a single display of the camera. It can't load up the camera or connection to the drone. The app does not work at all. I tested this inside, I could probably imagine how ripped off it would be testing it outside. The drone flies okay, it's just the app that doesn't work. We also had some issues we had to improvise while assembling the drone. Not a very good app this is.

Works great. It works using wifi and not blue tooth. You have to pick it using your phone wifi settings. I'm guessing the low ratings are from people that didn't read the instructions and tried blue tooth like I did at first.
