The old version of the app didn't really work, but the new version of this app is great for two important things: Group meetings where you want groups of people to socially distance. Workplace environments where teams of people are supposed to stay socially distant. For example: I used this app to meet with some friends for a BBQ last weekend. Each family created a team and the app was good at letting us know when we forgot that we weren't supposed to be standing to someone. The app worked great for that with my phone in my pocket. If this was a commercial product I would 4 or maybe even 3 stars, but it's important to understand that this app was developed by volunteers working nights and weekends to try to make something useful to help combat COVID19. I wish Apple or Google or some major company with resources would fund an effort like this. Until then I think we should show our support to the UN and the open source community for making something useful.

I've installed the app and followed directions. It is not working at all. Standing next to my husband with his phone and Bluetooth on but no alerts. Says No One is around. I even restarted my phone to see if that would help. Great idea but I'd hoped it would work.

Hello Team. I installed the application and keep device in background. I am not getting notification/alert when app is killed/background mode. Is it working in foreground mode only? If iPhone device is beside to android then it's not showing alert as well. Can you fix this issue to make best products?

I'm using Note10+ and testing with another Note9 and the experience isn't so good. It is slow in detecting and when it does, it shows for 2 seconds and disappears. And i place them next to each other (about 15cm apart) on the table.

I've had my iPhone 5s literally 15 cm away from the Android, both devices with Bluetooth on and nothing happened. It tracked my smartband, but the distance was wrong.
