What would you do if your beloved pet goes missing? With Oh Whizkers you can avoid all the hassle of printing posters and ringing the neighbours one-by-one – just send an alert in real-time* that notifies all users within a 20km radius that your pet is missing. If a user thinks they’ve spotted a lost pet, they snap & send a notification that immediately* reaches all users and includes a geo-tag of the location. How many times have you seen a lonely and scared pet, lost on the side of the road? Now you have the power to reunite these animals with their human friends.

Oh Whizkers aims to be the most effective way to bring lost pets home, and we hope that with your help we can foster a large caring community to make this possible. It is only with the input of the community that the app will work most effectively; the more people downloading and using the app, the higher the chance of your pet being found – you don’t even have to own a pet to use it!

The 4 Main Functions of the app are:
● Alert the community within a 20km radius of your home when your pet goes missing. We use the power of our community to spot and find your lost pet.
● Snap and send a photo of a pet that you think may be lost to the community in the area spotted with a geolocation Google map to help the pet return home.
● Create and join community activity groups, i.e. dog walking, volunteer pet boarding and other pet activities.
● Find vendors for pet related services and products which includes promotions listed in order of closest proximity to the user using geolocation coordinates.
We understand that our pets are our friends, companions and family and when they go missing it can be a distressing experience. Therefore Oh Whizkers developed a mobile app to reach, connect and co-ordinate friends and neighbours in our community within a 20 km radius to spot and help bring home your lost pet. We also understand the needs of pet owners to search for pet related services, products and community pet activities and therefore built these features into our app.

Mission
Oh Whizkers will allow pet lovers, pet vendors and anyone in the pet community to interact and help one another for the best interests of our animals. It is our vision to unite all pet related people, services and products in our community. It will be heart-warming for Oh Whizkers to see any lost, abandoned and homeless animal get rescued.
