What is Quake Safety

This is an application that allows you to view information of earthquakes that have occurred in various parts of Japan.
If you register a particular location (ex. house of your house and friends...), you will be automatically notified with the latest seismic information. Also, if you register on Facebook, you can inform your friend with the latest earthquake information.

The information to be notified, including the distance to the earthquake with you, it is useful to confirm the safety .

Please note*
However, the notification feature is not always guaranteed to notice.
It may not be notified due to the base station condition, additionally congestion in terms of network, and other radio wave conditions.
Please make the effort to obtain information from other sources as well as the application.


How to
How to view earthquake information
If you tap the "Map" button, you will be able to view the new seismic information.
When you tap the pin that represents the seismic information, you can view detailed information of the earthquake.

How to Register a place of interest
If you tap the "Add" button, you will be able to register a new spot.
First of all, you can either use the search box or tap the map of the requested location.
Then, Tap the "next" button to enter the information for the specified location.

How can I view information of the earth quake that has occurred in the vicinity of the area where the registration has been made.
If you tap the "Check" button, you will be able to view the information of past earthquakes that has occurred in the vicinity of the spot that you have registered.

How to automatically notify earthquake information
When you tap on the "Latest Announcement" on the screen "Setting", you can receive new earthquake information.
It will notify you if there are any earth quake information that has occurred near the spot of registration.
You can also change the interval to be notified in the "Frequency of Update".

You can also change the upper limit of the intensity to be notified with “Seismic intensity”.

How to post earthquake information on Facebook friends
When you tap on the "Posting on Facebook" on the screen "Setting", you will be able to post automatically the locations you have registered to your Facebook friends that owns the "Quake Safety".

You can choose a friend to post.
The information to be notified, including the distance to the earthquake with you.

Please note the Facebook friends notification will not occur if,
“Latest Announcement” is turned off.
“Facebook” is logged off

This functionality requires an accounting.

App Permissions

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an app to access approximate location.
