Abdus Miya is an entrepreneur and leadership trainer. At age 24, he has quite a bit of achievements under his belt. An ardent and diligent social innovator his achievements speak the volume of prodigy that he promises. A buoyant and industrious thinker he is one of the promising youth leaders from Nepal. A visionary leader, Abdus is a master trainer when it comes to training the young minds in their surge to become a transformational leader.
Abdus is the CEO and Founder of a social impact enterprise called Leadership Corner (www.leadershipcorner.org). Established on October 2015, Leadership Corner has been organizing wide range of programs to promote collective action and collaborative leadership. Mr. Miya leads overall strategy for the enterprise, focuses on building a remarkable team and develops partnerships & off the hook programs.

Abdus previously produced and hosted a series of record setting English inspirational television talk show called ‘The Open Space’ in Himalaya Television produced by US Embassy Nepal. He also worked as the country director of 60 Seconds International Film Festival’s Nepal Chapter (20132015) and as the Regional media advisor of a global human rights movement called ‘SMILE for Human Rights’ (2013- 2015).

Abdus is a co-founder of a technology company called Technorio (www.technorio.com) (2015) and the company in the second year of establishment already owns a subsidiary called Grass Media (2017) that specializes on branding.

A dreamer, Abdus represents a young, critical mass who has been leading the major campaigns in diverse milieus. He often gets saddened by the exacerbating condition of the country and envisions the youth leadership as key in changing the landscape.

An alumnus of ‘US Embassy Youth Council Nepal (2013)’ and ‘Generation Change- a global network of change makers’ (2012), Miya studied Public Policy and Government leadership from Southern Illinois University (2013), USA for which he was invited by US Department of State. He also represented Nepal as the youngest participant in CONTACT South Asia (a program about Conflict transformation and Peace Building) by SIT Graduate Institute USA (2012).

A firm believer of collaborative leadership, Abdus is determined to design different kinds of leadership and capacity building workshops, trainings, camps and etc. for enthusiasts and professionals. He also frequently visits different colleges and universities for leadership talks and workshops as to inspire young people to take leadership.

His highly impactful and talk of the town trainings are Abdus Miya Live, Netritwa; the school of leadership aptitude, Leadership ABCD with Abdus Miya, Impact Leadership Program , Training of Trainers, Leadership NEXT, Possible and etc.
