About this app

This app is created specially for art students practicing continuous line drawing.

A continuous line art is created by drawing on a surface without ever lifting the brush from the page, such that the drawing is one free-flowing and unbroken line. This means that the brush must move to and fro around the surface, with lines doubling back on each other to represent both the outlines and internal shapes.

This method of using continuous line to draw is great for developing confidence, drawing speed and fluidity of motion. This method works best with in-depth observation of the article (and incorporating light/dark into the line itself).

The OLA app, begins a new drawing every time you touch the screen, without breaking your drawing flow and rhythm.
There is an image overlay function that is useful for beginners that have trouble translating from real scenery onto the page.

features of OLA include

*choice of pens (brush, pencil, calligraphy), size.
*selection of background and pen colours.
*background overlay from gallery, camera or directly internet images.
*option to save the drawing with or without the background image.
