Pretty rubbish. Lots of major works not included in the app and several times I found the information swapped between two works (eg a bronze sculpture had info about a painting and vice versa). I'd suggest buying the louvre guide for €17 before going in.

I couldn't decide between this App and the free one, but chose this one because it should have more content. We sure liked the tour we started, because it picked out important artwork and gave us information in English which was very helpful because the signs next to the paintings are all in French. But when we liked another artwork not contained in the tour and tried to search it with the Appfunktion it wouldn't give you any results. So in the end we had to write down all the names and google at home.

We chose this app over the audio guide and learned a lot more than we would have on our own. We did the whole day tour, but in our opinion this is way too long. We skipped a few item, and some were closed today, but still did not finish between 9am and 6pm. Luckily, Wednesday is long hours day. I encourage you to try this app, it has good maps, descriptions, and helps you to find the very best between the overwhelming amount of art.
