Does not really do much to manage the generator.

Difficult to read small text. Unable to end app. Difficult to navigate. Newest version is still terrible. Still unable to end app. Important parameters still difficult to find. Adults need to develop this app not children. Can not edit the timer or other controls. Latest update disabled the biometrics sign in.

Doesn't work on slow Internet connections, generator puts a ton of useless data on the LAN (thankfully, not the Internet connection itself), and requires Internet, even when the generator and app ARE ON THE SAME LAN. When the app decides the generator has lost connection, you don't even get "most recent status". Just an error, without any useful information.

For all the hype, it does almost nothing except allow you to start and stop the generator. You cannot change your exercise times, or much of anything else. Kohler would not give me the MAC number of the controller so that it would run securely behind my router's MAC filtering. I would not pay any money for the OnCue system, and am not sure if it was even worth burying a CAT5 cable for it. Disappointing, for sure.

The only flaw that I could see was that the exercise timer cannot be programmed through the app. One must go to the actual generator to set this function. It would be to the advantage of Kohler to allow the operator to set the time date and other functions through the app. I really don't appreciate the idea of going outside in cold weather to set functions that could be done in the comfort of my home. Other than that it's a great system.

I have had this app for over a year. Installed it when I bought new 12Kw generator. Back ghen it was awesome. When my generator started up, I got a push notification, that it was running. It would notify me when it shut off and when maintenance was needed. It was always logged in, so I just touched the app and voila, everything was there. Voltage source, rpm's, frequency. Somewhere along the line, Kohler SCREWED it up. Now I have no idea when my generator is running, etc. FIX THIS PLEASE!
