Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Trekking. Digi-World on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Digi-World está formado por dos herramientas complementarias: "Trekking" y "Route creator".

Trekking
Trekking es un gestor de rutas, que permite adquirir o simplemente descargar y disfrutar de rutas especialmente preparadas por profesionales del excursionismo.

Cómo funciona
En principio es necesario comprar, o simplemente descargar, ya que hay rutas que son gratuitas, una ruta que previamente se haya elegido desde la propia aplicación. Una vez descargada la ruta queda grabada y estará a tu disposición para utilizarla. Tienes que hacer un "click" sobre la ruta elegida y te aparecerá la información relativa a la misma. A continuación podrás visualizarla y empezar el recorrido por la ruta, en la que irán apareciendo puntos de interés con información detallada de la zona.

Al avanzar por la ruta, cuando llegues a un punto de interés, podrás escuchar y leer informaciones interesantes del lugar y, si presionas sobre el agujón que representa el waypoint, visualizar una fotografía del lugar.

Estas rutas están diseñadas por profesionales del excursionismo y te las ofrecen con un detalle que no encontrarás en otros tipos de rutas y de las que destacaremos, además, desde la calidad de los mapas topográficos hasta el contenido de cada punto de interés.

Route creator
Route creator permite grabar y documentar rutas creadas por el usuario.

Cómo funciona
Esta opción te permite generar tus propias rutas. Selecciona el "Route creator", elige un mapa que te sirva de base para tus excursiones y empieza a añadir toda aquella información de tu interés.

Una vez hayas dado el nombre y la descripción de la ruta, pasarás al visualizador del mapa. En él podrás generar tus propios tracks, puntos de interés (o waypoints) que verás en la pantalla y añadirle la descripción y fotografía del lugar elegido.
