Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing USDF EquitTests 1 - Dressage on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

Font is too small on the Galaxy S7. It is unreadable

Keeps trying to update even when you have the latest updates installed. Sent an e-mail to support but no response.

The arena is the large arena and it should be the small arena. I sent an email in regards to this and no reply. Constantly requests an update and never updates itself.

Why is it constantly requesting updates? Great app other than that. Very helpful. I just have to take it off auto update or it kills my battery. Requests an update every day!

Great app, works really well for learning tests. However, the continuous updates are suspicious and annoying. I had hoped this had changed since the review that mentioned it was a year old, but no luck. Uninstalling!!!!

About this app

Effective January 1, 2018, this app will no longer be updated/maintained. You may continue to access the app through the end of the test cycle, November 30, 2018, provided no operating system updates affect the app’s compatibility. You may also access the tests on the USDF website at www.usdf.org, or download them through the USDF app “USDF: Your Dressage Connection”, available in the app stores.

USDF Introductory Dressage Tests & Freestyle Requirements - current for the 2015 competition year.

Requires the Adobe AIR runtime.

Suitable for USDF and Canadian Dressage riders. A useful reference for trainers, judges and spectators. Study USDF dressage tests with a more visual and auditory learning approach. Each test allows you to:

• Read the test instructions along with the marking criteria
• Review dressage arena diagrams that animate through the movements within a test (BOTH arena sizes are included for Tests A, B & C)
• Play and record your own readings of the test that are perfectly timed for the individual horses and the arena in which you are practicing
• Reference the official USDF dressage test sheet
• Review the USDF Pyramid of Training
• Keep up-to-date on the latest in dressage competition through the USDF news feed
• Links to download the Dressage Test PDFs allow you to reference the official scoring sheet.
