About this app

The Build Zimbabwe Alliance
The emergence of the Build Zimbabwe Alliance (BZA) has been driven by Dr. Noah Manyika’s call for political change, the need for effective principled leadership and to rebuild Zimbabwe through well-researched citizen-driven solutions.
BZA was registered as a political party in October 2016. The Alliance is not the usual Zimbabwean political party, where leadership selection often tends to sacrifice competency for party loyalty and length of tenure in political structures. Instead, it is a leadership incubator and platform, offering citizens and activists desiring to serve the people of Zimbabwe an opportunity to transition to formal civic and political leadership, through personal development of candidates, exposure to global best practices, and the support to run for office.

Principled, accountable leadership are hallmarks of the Build Zimbabwe Alliance, together with the voice and role of the citizen. With one of the highest literacy rates in Africa, BZA believes the citizens have all it takes to rebuild Zimbabwe. What the citizens require to achieve this, is the necessary skills, policies, leadership and structures.

Rebuilding Zimbabwe

After decades of misrule Zimbabwe cannot afford to compromise on its leadership. Leadership change for the sake of change will not bring about the urgently needed transformation.

The restoration and rebuilding of the nation after 2018 will require competent leadership with a robust solutions agenda for the country’s socio-economic recovery, supported by strong governance reforms. BZA is mobilizing and engaging Zimbabweans and friends of Zimbabwe to:

* Design and implement a well-researched solutions business plan for the country.
* Educate citizens on their constitutional and voter rights.
* Prepare Zimbabwe’s future leaders through coaching and mentoring programs.
* Introduce a lean, efficient and accountable government.

New features

* Updated the Constitution
* Corrected spelling mistakes
* Minor bug fixes
