This probably the best app I have ever used! Great work! 👍

There is not a better app experience anywhere!

This is an almost perfect app and product, except for two problems that I'm sure will be addressed in time: first, there's presently no IFTTT or external integration. Second, the presence detection is a bit dodgy, and I get alerts when my wife comes home because it seems only the back of her as she walks by. Since there's a corresponding arrival of her phone, the system should probably wait a second before firing up the alarm messages. Also, if it could identify people other than by their faces, this problem would be minimized. Difficult, but computational. I'm very optimistic for the future of this hardware/software combo.

Responsive UX and powerful custom pings. Most of the time I don't even need to use the app because I get all the information I need as push notifications

About this app

Lighthouse delivers an instant connection to your busy life at home.

Using artificial intelligence, a video camera and 3D sensing technology, you can tell Lighthouse what things you care about, and it shows you when they happen. With this companion app (Lighthouse camera sold separately), you can simply ask Lighthouse a question like, “What did my kids do while I was away?” and you’ll see the answer in an instant. Or have Lighthouse notify you about specific activities like, “Tell me if the dog walker doesn’t come by 2pm on weekdays when I’m not there.”

Of course, Lighthouse also offers 1080p live streaming, two-way talk, night vision, privacy mode, a security siren and more. Visit www.light.house to purchase the Lighthouse camera.

**Home security with smart AI.**
Traditional home cameras often send false alerts when it’s just your pet, moving shadows or inanimate objects like fans. Lighthouse uses AI and a 3D sensor to notify you when it detects actual movement from people or large objects (like doors) when you're away. Sound the built-in siren if you see something amiss.

**People, pet and facial recognition**
Lighthouse is the first home device that can accurately distinguish between people, pets and objects, and known and unknown faces.

**Video search: Just ask Lighthouse.**
Instead of scrubbing through hours of video footage, all you have to do is ask, and the right moments appear instantly. It’s not exactly magic, but your friends and family might think it is.

**Pings: Custom notifications made for real-life.**
Get updates about the things you really care about. Ask Lighthouse to “Ping me if you don't see the kids by 4pm on weekdays.” Way more helpful than knowing something moved. Again.

**Privacy made for your home. And ours.**
Lighthouse uses bank-grade TLS/SSL with 2048-bit keys and AES-256 session encryption for data in transit and at rest. Device software is tamper-proof via a digitally signed bootloader and updates. For added privacy, you can have the camera turn off automatically when you're home.

**In the news**

“While Alexa keeps consumers connected to the outside world while they’re at home, Lighthouse keeps consumers connected to their homes while they’re far away.”
-- USA Today

“...it adds 3D sensing technology and deep learning to a traditional Wi-Fi camera to create a home monitoring solution unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.”
-- Fast Company

“...it learns who to expect in your home on a daily basis -- including pets -- and who is out of place.”
-- The Verge

“...Lighthouse is advancing on a lot of fronts simultaneously...it could give the smart home a sizeable boost of helpful intelligence.”
-- CNET
