Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Taxi Share - Ride sharing an airport taxi on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Taxishare connects passengers for ride sharing an airport taxi (Share Taxi). And it brings together passengers with drivers (Find Taxi). Both functionalities are explained below.

Tired of steep intercity airport taxi fares? Find someone instantly to share your taxi with.

When at the airport:
Broadcast your final destination
Taxishare connects you with a fellow passenger through chat who is right there at the same airport and travels to the same final destination

When at home:
register your departing flight date and time
Taxishare will match you with a fellow passenger who travels on the same date at the same time from the same airport
You arrange pick-up details through the built-in chat, under your preferred alias

Cost: AED 25,- if TaxiShare can successfully match you, i.e.
match with arriving passenger at same airport travelling to the same final destination
match with departing passenger travelling on the same date from the same airport within 60 minutes of your departure

Any or Favorite
Broadcast your location to any nearby taxi driver to catch a ride in minutes!
Your broadcast is anonymous;
You see all nearby taxis live on a map;
Nearby taxi drivers get a notification and see your location;
No phone calls or text messages required. Just take the first taxi that stops. Your broadcast cancels automatically;
Or you can ping your favorite taxi driver first to see if he is nearby.
Cost: AED 5,- for unlimited broadcast of your location to nearby taxi drivers for 1 hour maximum

Service is free of charge until March 1st 2020. After that, broadcasting a "find taxi" request costs AED 4,- and broadcasting an airport taxi share request costs AED 25
