This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing PPC Manager Lite on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

PPC Manager Lite allows to record the results of PPC-Events (Precision Pistol Competition) in a simple and clear way.
PPC-Events are basically classified into 150 shots-, 60 shots- and 48 shots-events. To monitor the shooting time of each match, an integrated countdown-timer can be used.
The results of each match can be comprehended in a simple way, making it immediately apparent whether the number of rounds, which are required have been passed or not. The sum of scores is determined and shown directly. Additionally, the results of the event will be shown in an overview, in which all kinds of partial results are shown as well.
I am also a PPC shooter and have arranged the recording of the matches the way I have learned it from practical experience. If there are other opinions, PLEASE send me an email and tell me your suggestions to give me the possibility to improve the application without attracting attention by a poor rating. This PLEASE also applies to any possible imperfections, ideas and suggestions that I am always willing to listen to.
I optimized the application for a screen resolution of 800x480 and installed it on a Samsung Galaxy S2 where I tested it successfully.

Limitations compared to the full version:
- At start of the app only three default-events available, no creating/deleting possible

Required permissions:
android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS are required because it is necessary to increase the timeout duration of the screen while the countdown-timer is running. After leaving the countdown-timer the default timeout will be reset automatically.
Other permissions are not required.

Languages:
Depending on the selected language of the smartphone the following languages are automatically supported:
- Deutsch
- English
All other languages are displayed in English.
